> **Short answer:** Of the 11 tools we checked, only three list all five pieces (voting board, public roadmap, changelog, help center and AI) as their own product: FeatureOS, Featurebase and ProductLift. Canny, Frill, Sleekplan, Nolt and Upvoty cover voting, roadmap and changelog but list no customer help center, so docs live in a second tool. Productboard, UserVoice and Fider are built around ideas and voting; they list no changelog, so release notes need another product.

We make FeatureOS, one of the tools below, so weigh that section accordingly. Every cell in the matrix was checked on the vendor's own website on **2026-11-06**. This post answers one question: how many tools will you end up paying for? For price and fit across the wider category, see [best product feedback software](/blog/best-product-feedback-software). For planning-first tools, see [product roadmap tools](/blog/product-roadmap-tools). For release notes alone, see [best changelog and release notes software](/blog/best-changelog-and-release-notes-software-featureos).

## Why the bundle matters

The loop has four steps: a customer asks for something, you show it on the roadmap, you ship it, and you tell the people who asked. A help center comes after, so the next customer can find the answer without opening a ticket.

When each step lives in a different tool, the links between them break. Voters on the board never hear about the changelog post. The roadmap card says "planned" a month after the feature shipped. Docs describe last quarter's UI. One tool that owns all of it can tell voters when their request ships, because it knows who voted.

## The matrix: what each tool bundles

**Yes** means the vendor's site describes the feature as part of its product. **Not listed** means we could not find it on the vendor's site on 2026-11-06; it may exist, but you should ask before you count on it. **Add-on** or a plan name means it costs extra or sits on a higher tier.

## Group 1: all five in one product

### FeatureOS

[FeatureOS](/) ships [feedback boards](/feature-voting) with voting, a public [roadmap](/roadmaps), a [changelog](/release-notes) and a [knowledge base](/knowledge-base) on every paid plan, plus forms. AI covers duplicate detection, smart categorization, Ask AI over your help articles and AI-drafted replies on posts (enhanced duplicate detection and AI analytics start on Growth).

Pricing is seat bundles: Starter $60 a month for 5 seats, Growth $120 for 10, Business $250 for 15, and $15 per extra seat. Billed yearly, that is $600, $1,200 or $2,500. Voters and readers are never billed. There is no free plan; you get a 14-day trial, and the Startup Program gives eligible startups 6 months of Starter free.

**Where others win:** Featurebase has a free plan and a support inbox with live chat. ProductLift is cheaper for a team of two.

### Featurebase

Featurebase bundles feedback boards, roadmaps, a public changelog page and a help center, then adds support tooling on top: a help desk inbox, live chat and the Fibi AI agent ([featurebase.app](https://www.featurebase.app/)).

**Best for:** teams that want feedback and customer support in the same product.

**Watch for:** per-seat pricing ($29, $59 or $99 per seat a month) and AI billed by use. Fibi is charged per resolution, and AI Copilot beyond 10 free conversations per seat is $19 per seat a month ([featurebase.app/pricing](https://www.featurebase.app/pricing)). More in our [Featurebase pricing breakdown](/blog/featurebase-pricing).

### ProductLift

ProductLift lists feedback voting, a roadmap, a changelog and a knowledge base on every plan, with AI credits each month (250 on Starter, 2,000 on Pro) ([productlift.dev/pricing](https://www.productlift.dev/pricing)).

**Best for:** small SaaS teams that want the whole loop at a low flat price.

**Watch for:** Starter includes 2 team members and 2 boards. Extra members are $15 a month each. Pro is $79 a month, or $49 billed yearly, for 5 team members.

## Group 2: voting, roadmap and changelog; docs elsewhere

These tools cover the core loop. If you want a customer help center, budget for a second tool such as a docs or help desk product.

### Canny

Boards, roadmap and changelog, with Autopilot included on every plan to pull feedback out of support conversations and surface themes ([canny.io](https://canny.io/)). Pricing grows with tracked users: anyone who posts, votes or comments. Pass your limit without a spend cap and Canny moves you up a tier ([canny.io/pricing](https://canny.io/pricing)). See [Canny alternatives](/blog/canny-alternatives).

**Where Canny wins:** Autopilot on every plan, including Free.

### Frill

Ideas, a public roadmap and Announcements behind one widget, with an AI Inbox that pulls feature requests out of conversations ([frill.co](https://frill.co/)). Startup is $25 a month with a cap of 50 active ideas; Business at $49 removes it. Surveys, privacy and white labeling are add-ons ([frill.co/pricing](https://frill.co/pricing)).

### Sleekplan

Feedback, roadmap and changelog, with a free Indie plan that includes the board and changelog. AI (Sleek Intelligence) starts on Starter with 1,000 credits ([sleekplan.com/pricing](https://sleekplan.com/pricing)).

**Where Sleekplan wins:** the cheapest way to get the full loop, free for a solo admin.

### Nolt

A clean voting board with a roadmap and a changelog that can publish completed items automatically ([nolt.io](https://nolt.io/)). Essential is $29 a month for 1 board; Pro is $69 for 5 boards. AI moderation is Enterprise only ([nolt.io/pricing](https://nolt.io/pricing)).

### Upvoty

Voting boards, a roadmap and a changelog that notifies the people who voted ([upvoty.com](https://upvoty.com/)). Check the plan, though: the changelog is listed on Super ($25 a month), not on Power ($15) ([upvoty.com/pricing](https://upvoty.com/pricing)).

## Group 3: ideas and voting; changelog elsewhere

### Productboard

Productboard is a planning tool first. Its Product Portal lets customers vote on ideas, and every plan includes Spark, its AI for PMs. The pricing page lists no customer changelog or help center. Prices are not published ([productboard.com/pricing](https://www.productboard.com/pricing/)).

### UserVoice

Branded feedback portals with votes, comments and public idea statuses, plus AI themes and an agent for questions about your feedback ([uservoice.com](https://uservoice.com/)). Voters get emails when a request moves or ships, but no changelog page is listed. Launch starts at $12,000 a year ([uservoice.com/pricing](https://uservoice.com/pricing)).

### Fider

A voting board you can use hosted or run yourself; the site links a public GitHub repo and self-hosting docs. Free covers 250 feedback items; Pro is $25 a month ([fider.io/pricing](https://fider.io/pricing)). Roadmap, changelog and AI are not listed.

## What one tool costs versus two

Take a 5-person team that wants all five pieces (rate as shown on the page; billing period not stated):

1. **FeatureOS Starter:** $60 a month, voters unlimited.
2. **ProductLift Pro:** $79 a month for 5 team members, or $49 billed yearly.
3. **Featurebase Growth:** 5 seats at $29 is $145 a month, before any AI usage.
4. **Canny, Frill, Nolt or Upvoty plus a help center:** the board's price plus a separate docs tool, and two places to keep in sync.

On price alone, ProductLift and Sleekplan cost less for small teams. The case for FeatureOS is a growing team that wants all five modules on one bill that does not rise with voters or AI usage.

## How to choose

1. **You need a help center too:** FeatureOS, Featurebase or ProductLift.
2. **You also run support chat:** Featurebase.
3. **Smallest budget, full loop:** Sleekplan or ProductLift.
4. **Voting only, docs live elsewhere:** Nolt, Upvoty or Fider.
5. **Prioritization inside a PM suite:** Productboard or UserVoice, plus a changelog tool.
