What You Can Do with Discord + FeatureOS

The integration works in both directions, keeping your team connected to customer feedback at all times:

• Real-time notifications in your server: Every time a user submits feedback, upvotes a post, or a post gets resolved in FeatureOS, your chosen Discord channel gets an automatic update. You pick exactly which events and boards trigger notifications.
• Create posts without leaving Discord: Spot a great idea in a conversation? Use the /hellonext command to create a FeatureOS post right from Discord. Select a board, fill in the title and description, and it goes live on your feedback portal.
• Turn messages into feedback: See a user complaint or suggestion in a Discord message? Click the "More options" menu on that message to convert it directly into a FeatureOS post. No copy-pasting needed.
• Keep the whole team aware: Product managers, developers, and support staff all see feedback flowing through the channels they already monitor. No one needs to log into FeatureOS separately to stay updated.

Getting Started with Discord + FeatureOS

1. In FeatureOS: Go to Dashboard → Organization Settings → Integrations and click Connect for Discord.
2. You'll be redirected to Discord - select your Discord Server and click Continue.
3. On the permissions page, grant the required permissions:
   • View Channels
   • Send Messages in Threads
   • Embed Links
   • Read Message History
4. Back in FeatureOS, configure your integration:
   • Choose the Discord channel where notifications should appear.
   • Select which boards and events (new posts, upvotes, resolved posts, etc.) to track.

If the channel selection fails, verify the bot has the necessary permissions through Discord Server Settings → Roles → FeatureOS → Permissions.
