Short answer: Product feedback software falls into three groups. Feedback boards (FeatureOS, Canny, Featurebase, Frill, Sleekplan) collect and rank requests in public. Visual feedback tools (Userback, Usersnap) capture bug reports with screenshots. Product management suites (Productboard, Aha! Ideas, Jira Product Discovery, UserVoice) feed requests into planning. Pick the group first, then compare prices by billing basis, because per-seat, per-voter and flat-rate bills grow in very different ways.
We make FeatureOS, one of the tools below, so weigh that section accordingly. Every price here was checked on the vendor's pricing page on 2026-11-04.

How to choose
- Who gives the feedback? Customers voting in public need a board. Testers reporting bugs need a visual tool. Internal teams logging requests need a PM suite.
- How will the bill grow? Per-seat pricing grows with your team. Tracked-user pricing grows with your community. Flat rates and seat bundles grow slowest.
- What happens after you ship? If you want to tell voters automatically, you need a changelog linked to the board.
FeatureOS
Feedback boards, roadmaps, a changelog, a knowledge base and forms and surveys. Pay only for team seats; voters and readers are never billed.
Best for: teams with a busy public board that want the whole loop in one product.
When something else is the better pick: you need a free plan (FeatureOS has none), you only need a voting board, or your feedback is mostly visual bug reports.
Canny
The best-known feedback board, with Autopilot for capturing feedback from support and sales conversations.
Best for: teams whose voter count stays small, or who want Autopilot.
Watch for: price rises with tracked users. See Canny alternatives and FeatureOS vs Canny.
Featurebase
Feedback boards, roadmap, changelog and a help center, with support tooling on top.
Best for: a single product for feedback and support with few seats.
Watch for: per-seat pricing ($29, $59, $99 per seat a month, billed yearly). See FeatureOS vs Featurebase.
Frill
Ideas, roadmap and announcements behind one widget.
Best for: small teams that want a tidy loop at a flat price.
Watch for: no knowledge base or surveys. See the Frill comparison.
Sleekplan
Feedback, roadmap, changelog and simple satisfaction surveys behind one widget.
Best for: indie developers; the Indie plan is free.
Watch for: breadth over depth. See the Sleekplan comparison.
Userback
Visual feedback and bug reporting with screenshots, plus a feature request portal.
Best for: agencies and QA-heavy teams collecting "this is broken" feedback.
Watch for: it is built around bug capture first. See the Userback comparison.
Usersnap
Screenshot feedback, surveys and feedback boards.
Best for: teams that want visual feedback and surveys from one vendor.
Watch for: Starter includes 2 seats. See the Usersnap comparison.
Productboard
Feedback inbox, prioritization and roadmaps for product orgs.
Best for: product teams that want feedback to drive planning.
Watch for: prices are not published, and Business has a 5-maker minimum. See the Productboard comparison.

Idea portals and voting that connect to Aha! Roadmaps.
Best for: teams already planning in Aha!.
Watch for: per-user pricing. See the Aha! comparison.
Jira Product Discovery
Atlassian's idea capture and prioritization tool.
Best for: teams whose delivery runs in Jira.
Watch for: not a public voting board; contributors need an Atlassian account. See the Jira Product Discovery comparison.
UserVoice
Enterprise feedback management with review workflows and CRM integration.
Best for: large companies with formal feedback review and sales-led procurement.
